Originally from Idaho, I have always had a passion for anything outdoors. I moved to Colorado after graduating optometry school and I fell in love with the mountains. My husband, a Colorado native, introduced me to Summit County and it seems like we spend every weekend there, skiing, biking, hiking, kayaking, and fishing. I worked in the Denver Metro Area for the past ten years as a pediatric and family practice optometrist. I moved my family up to Silverthorne to be closer to the activities that give our lives meaning. I also currently serve as a Major in the 140th Medical Group for the Colorado Air National Guard as their Chief of Optometry. I have completed humanitarian missions in Mongolia, Morocco, Hawaii, Kentucky, and most recently aided with the flood relief for Hurricane Harvey. We are excited to hang out our shingle and to become an integral part in this mountain community.
