Discover Copper Mountain – Your Ultimate Colorado Getaway
Located just 75 miles west of Denver in the heart of Summit County, Copper Mountain is your year-round destination for adventure and unforgettable mountain experiences.
Copper offers one of the longest ski seasons in the Western U.S., with sunny bluebird days and world-class powder. With 2,538 skiable acres and an average of 298 inches of snowfall each season, Copper delivers big-mountain skiing without the big-mountain crowds. Our naturally divided terrain is perfect for every level—gentle beginner slopes on the west, challenging steeps and wide-open bowls on the east, and one of North America’s few superpipes alongside a nationally recognized terrain park.
Copper in the Summer
The adventure at the Athlete’s Mountain continues into summer. Race around on Go-Karts, fly downhill on your mountain bike, or play a round of golf at the Copper Creek Golf Course, one of the highest courses in North America. Skiers and riders can still enjoy the mountain from June through September at the Summer Hike Park in Center Village.
Events & Entertainment
There’s always something happening at Copper. From live music to village festivities, our event calendar is packed with year-round favorites including Sunsation, Copper Country, and Union Peak Festival. Whether you’re here for a weekend or a week, there's always a reason to stay a little longer.
